Senior Manager Clinical Data Management

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY

  • You will be responsible for leading and overseeing all activities of data-management staff
  • You will monitor and audit the quality of all data management activities according to department SOPs, regulatory rules, and guidelines
  • You will represent data management for multiple ongoing projects to ensure that work is proceeding in an efficient manner in order to meet projects’ timelines as well as budgets
  • You will be responsible for leading and overseeing all activities of data-management staff
  • You will interact with CROs, internal colleagues, external clients, and cross-functional teams based in the US and EU
  • You will report to Executive Director of Biometrics or Chief Development Officer

BACKGROUND PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required, scientific or healthcare discipline preferred
  • 7+ years' experience managing clinical-trial data in pharmaceutical or biotech
  • Demonstrated leadership in clinical data-management activities (e.g., case report form design (CRF), data edit specifications and data validation, creation of data management plans, accurate tracking, reporting, attention to detail and data quality)
  • Experience in managing CROs and outside vendors
  • Possess strong skills in leadership, communication, project management and budget management while maintaining high quality
  • Experience in the use of clinical data-management systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively collaborate in a dynamic environment
  • Previous work in rare disease and submissions is highly desirable
