Manager, R&D Outsourcing

  • Oversee the identification, selection, and management of global CROs. 
  • Develop a global clinical development vendor strategy for a program or therapeutic area. 
  • Manage the contract negotiation process across the entire life cycle.  
  • Collaborate with internal customers in vendor bidding and proposal development. 
  • Manage contract activities for multiple clinical development programs and ensure there is adequate staff with the skills to complete Development Operations contracts. 
  • Ensure the vendor selection process is compliant by managing risks and collaborating with cross-functional teams. 
  • Translate business requirements into vendor capabilities and develop recommendations for vendor selection.

  • BA in a relevant discipline and 7+ years of experience or MS/MBA with 5+ years of experience. 
  • Strong understanding of contract negotiation and clinical finance. 
  • Legal, clinical operations, and regulatory acumen.  
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey complex technical information.

Ultimately, this choice would lead her family to move to Placer County where she then took on life as a “volunteer extraordinaire” for her local school district. She is now back in the workforce using her knowledge in healthcare and clinical data studies to pair candidates with their dream careers while assisting companies to find their ideal candidate.
