THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY

• Develop and coordinate strategic business development plans for transactional groups.

• Manage the implementation and execution of BD strategies and measure outcomes to demonstrate impact.

• Develop and monitor marketing & BD budgets for assigned practice groups.

• Act as the primary point of contact for practice group leadership and attorneys regarding business development initiatives.

• Work directly with attorneys to drive new business generation with existing and new clients, including conception of new projects and initiatives.

• Prepare client-facing materials, including RFP responses, pitch decks, and presentations, and conduct preparatory sessions with attorneys prior to client meetings.

• Leverage market research and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities and assist in client engagement planning.

• Attend regular practice group meetings and report on BD activities, progress against plans, and key metrics.

BACKGROUND PROFILE

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field.

• Minimum of three years of professional services marketing and business development experience; prior law firm experience highly desirable.

• Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and strategic thinking.
