Legal Administrative Assistant

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY
Coordinate scheduling of court appearances, depositions, client meetings, and travel arrangements
Manage calendars, due dates, and travel reimbursements
Draft, edit, and format legal documents, memos, and general correspondence
Prepare pleadings such as briefs, complaints, motions, subpoenas, and summonses using firm templates
Coordinate and file legal documents in both state and federal courts, including E-filings
Maintain hard copy and electronic filing systems; retrieve and archive files as needed
Enter attorneys’ time daily and assist with monthly billing processes
Answer and direct phone calls, manage incoming mail, and assist with visitor coordination
Research and compile information to support meetings, projects, and reports
Use firm systems such as iManage, InTapp, InTapp Time, 3E, and Chrome River

BACKGROUND PROFILE
3+ years of experience as a legal administrative assistant or legal secretary in a law firm
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, legal billing/document systems (e.g., iManage, 3E, Chrome River)
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
Familiarity with court filing procedures, including E-filings
High attention to detail, confidentiality, and professional judgment
