IP Conflicts Analyst

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY
• Analyze and process conflict requests, focusing on IP-related matters, patent prosecution, and subject matter conflicts.
• Conduct corporate research and prepare conflicts reports, ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines.
• Identify and address potential conflicts, draft waivers, engagement letters, and implement ethical screens.
• Collaborate with attorneys and business professionals to resolve conflicts and provide strategic guidance.
• Train and support legal teams on conflicts procedures and best practices.
• Stay current on legal ethics, conflicts case law, and industry trends.

BACKGROUND PROFILE
• 2+ years of conflicts and/or IP-related experience, preferably in a law firm.
• Knowledge of ABA and California State Bar ethics rules.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in IntApp Open, Contract Express, and legal research tools.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (chemistry, biochemistry, biology, or engineering preferred).
• Excellent communication and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
