THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY
- Manage calendars for Managing Partner and, as needed, for other firm attorneys; schedule meetings and appointments
- Coordinate executive communications, including taking calls, responding to emails and interfacing with clients
- Prepare internal and external corporate documents for attorneys and clients
- Maintain organized electronic files for all documents (we are a paperless firm)
- Make travel and accommodation arrangements
- Assist the Managing Partner with firm marketing efforts, manage social media
- Arrange firm-related events, including staff appreciation, client facing and other business development events
- Assist in marketing efforts including creating client development pitch decks, social media posting, branded gifting and more

- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 4 years (ideally 7+ years) of experience as an Executive Assistant reporting directly to an executive or senior manager
- Strong communication, problem solving, leadership and diplomacy skills to interact with lawyers, staff and vendors on a regular basis
- Exceptional organizational skills and super follow through and project management experience
- Must be comfortable working independently
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Mailchimp a plus
- Prior law or related professional services firm experience a plus
- Prior Marketing background a plus

Kathryn is the most recent member of ABA Search, joining the team in September 2022 as the Executive Assistant to the President, a role she played prior to ABA while providing teams with operational and data management aid. She has spent her professional career working across the agriculture, luxury travel, and hospitality industries and has gained a range of interpersonal, technical, and administrative skills along the way. With experience in finance, human resources, and digital marketing, Kathryn has a well-rounded understanding of the internal mechanics of a small business. She earned her B.A. in Film and Media Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara. After spending ten years in Southern California, Kathryn currently lives in Northern California, far north of her native San Francisco Bay Area.
