Business Development Manager – Corporate

Location: San Francisco, Palo Alto, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., or New York (Hybrid Schedule)
THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY
- Collaborate with practice group and industry leaders to develop and execute strategic business development plans.
- Drive client-focused business development efforts, including crafting client pitch materials, responding to RFPs, and supporting attorneys in client meetings.
- Analyze market trends and opportunities with the Market Research team to assist attorneys in targeting prospective clients.
- Lead integration of lateral attorneys and manage relationship-building efforts through the firm’s Relationship Manager program.
- Partner with Public Relations and Digital Marketing teams to identify and leverage media, thought leadership, and digital campaign opportunities.
- Coordinate legal rankings submissions, manage practice group content, and ensure alignment with the firm’s branding and messaging.
- Provide guidance to attorneys on personal business development strategies and goals.
BACKGROUND PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field; MBA or JD preferred.
- 4+ years of professional services marketing or business development experience, with a strong preference for law firm experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in corporate, financial institutions, M&A, and tax practices.
- Proven leadership, initiative, and ability to strategize for new business generation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); experience with Salesforce is a plus.
