Business Development Manager – Corporate

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY

  • Collaborate with practice group and industry leaders to develop and execute strategic business development plans.
  • Drive client-focused business development efforts, including crafting client pitch materials, responding to RFPs, and supporting attorneys in client meetings.
  • Analyze market trends and opportunities with the Market Research team to assist attorneys in targeting prospective clients.
  • Lead integration of lateral attorneys and manage relationship-building efforts through the firm’s Relationship Manager program.
  • Partner with Public Relations and Digital Marketing teams to identify and leverage media, thought leadership, and digital campaign opportunities.
  • Coordinate legal rankings submissions, manage practice group content, and ensure alignment with the firm’s branding and messaging.
  • Provide guidance to attorneys on personal business development strategies and goals.

BACKGROUND PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field; MBA or JD preferred.
  • 4+ years of professional services marketing or business development experience, with a strong preference for law firm experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in corporate, financial institutions, M&A, and tax practices.
  • Proven leadership, initiative, and ability to strategize for new business generation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); experience with Salesforce is a plus.
