Attorney Development Manager, Technology

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY

  • Oversee cross-office work allocation, performance and utilization, and attorney retention strategies for the firms California Tech-associates.
  • Manage performance processes, including evaluations, coaching on feedback, and addressing performance-related matters.
  • Execute and improve the advisor program to support attorney development.
  • Champion DEI initiatives and foster an inclusive culture within the practice group.
  • Facilitate onboarding, integration, and career transitions for attorneys.
  • Partner with HR and Recruiting to support employee relations and hiring strategies.
  • Contribute to special projects to enhance processes, policies, and team initiatives.

BACKGROUND PROFILE

  • Juris Doctor required; corporate transactional experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years in attorney coaching and career development.
  • Familiarity with corporate legal practices within the tech industry is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Word, Outlook, and Excel, with the ability to learn additional tools.
