Senior Real Estate Paralegal, In-House
Industry: Legal/RealEstate
Status: Part-Time (30 hours/week)
Location: Fully remote or Hybrid Optional, San Francisco
THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY
This position will be the in-house legal point of contact for a boutique property investment, development and management company where no two days are the same.
- Liaise with outside legal counsel to ensure Aralon’s interests are protected and agreements comply with relevant laws and regulations
- Facilitate communication between owners and attorneys for leasing
- Review contracts, including lease agreements, closing documents and corporate vendor contracts (e.g. engagement letters, listing agreements, master services and subcontractor agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and others)
- Standardize agreements and letters for commercial real estate, ensuring they’re strong and concise
- Track contractual obligations; coordinate related notices, and/or amendments to ensure compliance with commercial terms and conditions
- Oversee other tasks such as real estate litigation matters, landlord/tenant disputes, post-judgment and collections
- Develop and maintain comprehensive contract management systems to ensure organizational compliance
- Perform due diligence in connection with purchase/sale and leasing transactions
- Analyze title reports to identify any issues or discrepancies
- Support legal/compliance efforts and assist with other paralegal functions
- Highly successful property investment, development and management firm

- Bachelor’s Degree
- 6+ years experience in California real estate law
- Excellent attention to detail, process and deadlines
- Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively
